PatientRightsAdvocate.org Applauds Senators for Urging Prices First

Today, PatientRightsAdvocate.org applauded U.S. Senators Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), and Roger Marshall (R-KS)’s letter to the Trump Administration on the No Surprises Act and an Advanced Explanation of Benefits (AEOB).

Statement from Cynthia Fisher, Founder and Chair of PatientRightsAdvocate.org:

"Prices upfront, an Advanced Explanation of Benefits, is the most powerful step the Trump Administration can take to protect consumers through upfront prices and ensure recourse for overcharges. We applaud Senators Cassidy, Hassan, and Marshall for their leadership and urge the Trump Administration to swiftly act to deliver prices first for consumers."

The letter was sent to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Department of Labor Secretary Lori Chavez-DeRemer, and Department of Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
