PatientRightsAdvocate.org Founder and CEO Cynthia Fisher Applauds HHS Healthcare Price Transparency Push

PatientRightsAdvocate.org Founder and CEO Cynthia Fisher released a statement of applauds following the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ new healthcare price transparency public service announcement by U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. focused on the significance of healthcare price transparency and how it fits in the Administration’s “Make America Healthy Again” (MAHA) movement.

In her statement, Cynthia Fisher said:

“Americans deserve to know the price of healthcare before they receive it, just like any other purchase, so there are no surprise bills and families can make informed decisions. By requiring upfront prices for patients and full transparency for employers, these reforms expose hidden fees and ensure every healthcare dollar is accounted for. Under President Trump and Secretary Kennedy’s leadership, the Department of Health and Human Services has a clear opportunity to deliver healthcare price transparency quickly, driving lower prices, stronger competition, more jobs, and real savings for American families. We applaud this effort and urge the Administration to move as fast as possible so Americans can see and feel the tangible results of true transparency without delay.”

Fisher praised the Administration’s emphasis on making healthcare prices clear and accessible to patients, employers, and families nationwide. She emphasized that transparency is essential to restoring trust, lowering costs, and empowering Americans to make informed healthcare decisions before care is delivered—not after a bill arrives.
